Well, the weekend is gone again, and I didn’t have much time to do any craft! ;-(

Not that I had a bad weekend, but I had dinner guests on Saturday and that kept me busy most of the day: Cleaning the house, preparing food and clearing my craft area and converting it into a dinning room for the evening.

The good thing was, that the evening was very nice and the food turned out really good. The starter were fresh figs with blue cheese rapped in prosciutto and heated in the ofen. For the main I tried a German recipe from my mum “Schlemmertopf” (casserole). As I am not very confident with my cooking skills I was really happy that it turned out to be so nice. Afterwards we had more fresh figs with ice cream and coffee.

Unfortunately I didn’t take any photos, but I got some nice comments in my guestbook – at least I haven’t forgotten everything!

Peter’s comment about my dinning/craft room is particular funny and made us all smile:

“… every visit to Regine … is special … unique. Every time there is new decor, furniture, fittings… does she do this each time she has visitors? Does she have an unlimited budget? Is it a trick? Does she swap furniture with neighbours … Is there a large hidden cache of furniture on the property? I think this enigma will never be solved, but it doesn’t matter … the food is unforgettable. …”

On Sunday I had to go to Fremantle for my free “Bonsai treatment”. I also caught up with Sheila for a little snack. By the time I came home I almost had to get ready again for my next adventure.

The weekend finished with a visit to the outdoor movies. As usual we had heaps too much food at the picnic, but it was great as always.

Maybe I get some time tomorrow to do some craft?
