After doing a couple of scrapbooking layouts and the beyond the page project, I started creating some cards again last Sunday. I had my lovely friends Vada and Linda over and together we crafted through the afternoon.

At the beginning I struggled a bit – as usually when I haven’t been doing cards for a while, but I just pushed myself to do something and suddenly the creativity was flowing again and I was on a roll. I dived into my rub-ons, determined to use up some of them, as I have these already for a number of years. I made four cards before I moved on to a new die from Vada. I cut it out with three different papers, but was then running out of time since I had to start cooking dinner: My first ever roast pork leg!

Thanks to my wonderful friend Vada, who happens to be also a chef , I got lots of help and tips how to do it. It turned out really great with a perfect crackling on top. I served it with grilled potatoes, sweet potatoes and mushrooms and a mixed salad.

During the week I used my breakfast time to finish off the three cards with the die cuts as well as I created some more. And in the last two days, in between doing housework, washing, shopping, volleyball and going to dinner I managed more. I ended up with 15 new cards and one of them has been sold already!

I am already itching to get back to my craft table. I think I am addicted to craft!

Thanks for stopping by.
