My Christmas present to myself in 2011 were some new furniture for my craft / dinning room. I selected them in Margaret River just before Christmas.
I found the year before by accident a sideboard in beach style I absolutely fallen in love with and of course bought. So I decided to add some more similar furniture to make my craft room a bit more attractive since it is also my dinning room.
As I was already planning on buying new furniture I took measurements of my room space and also of various items I want to fit into the new shelves and cabinets before I went down south.
After viewing what they had available in the shop I took photos and also the measurements of all the different furniture. The next two days I was spending a far bit of planning which ones would fit best and can accommodate all my items. I was really glad I had taken all the measurements of my various items, otherwise I think it would have ended in frustration as I wouldn’t have been able to fit the items in the shelves.
Yesterday and today I have emptied out the existing shelves, cabinets and other furniture to make space for the new arrivals. I can’t wait for them to arrive – hurry up delivery man! But I will have to be patient, they only arrive on Thursday.
I have already placed ads on gumtree for the old furniture. Hopefully I can sell them quickly. If you need anything, look here for a computer desk and here for a wardrobe/storage cabinet.
