I love public holidays! Not only do I get a day off, but I am now also paid for it! Yuhhuu! Since I didn’t have any plans this long weekend I enjoyed a lot of time on my craft table, just doing cards 😉 I know I am a bit crazy, but hey I am enjoying life!

And I am very happy to say I was very productive this weekend. I lost a bit track but I think I made around 25 Christmas cards. This brings me to a total of 58 Christmas cards so far for this year! I am expecting to sell around 40 cards and of course I will be writing a lot myself, so 58 sounds great, but I am nowhere near the end.

I am trying very hard to use up all these embellishments that I still have from last year – sometimes even more years – in my Christmas box and I am slowly but surely getting there. Beside some new tools I haven’t purchased anything Christmas related. And the tools are thanks to my lovely friend Jude, who gave me some money as thank you for doing her mail for a year. The gift came with the obligation to buy myself something nice! Of course this wasn’t any problem for me. Within a couple of days I had spent the money online and received my new goodies:

I had ordered a whole lot of die cutting templates. You will recognise a lot of these in the Christmas cards.

So, here the first lot of cards using the village and/or trees:

The next lot are cards using a set of three snowflake dies, I had purchased a while ago:

Here another couple using the poinsettia die:

And another lot of similar cards, but in different colours:

I didn’t plan on the series, but I just loved the tree stamping and so I decided to try another colour and then a different one and suddenly I had all my distress stamp pads out and almost couldn’t stop stamping!

In case you have counted, these weren’t all the cards I made yet. There are still around 20 random cards and another series I did today, but haven’t taken photos yet.

Thanks for stopping by.
